Hidden Places Guest Terms

1. PURPOSE These Guest Terms apply whenever you book or use a Place or Experience through Hidden Places. They supplement the Hidden Places Terms of Service. 2. BEFORE BOOKING You are responsible for reviewing the listing carefully before booking. You should consider: • suitability of the Place; • access arrangements; • facilities; • accessibility requirements; • permitted activities; • capacity; • Host rules; • safety information; and • cancellation terms. If anything material is unclear, you should seek clarification before booking. 3. BOOKING INFORMATION You must provide accurate information when making a booking. If booking for a group, you are responsible for ensuring that members of your group are made aware of relevant rules, restrictions and safety information. 4. USE OF THE PLACE You may use the Place only for the purpose agreed in the booking. You must: • respect the Place and surrounding property; • comply with reasonable Host instructions; • remain within permitted areas; • comply with stated capacity limits; • supervise children and animals for whom you are responsible; • avoid unreasonable disturbance to neighbours, livestock or wildlife; and • leave the Place in a reasonable condition. 5. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES You must not carry out unlawful, dangerous or materially different activities from those agreed with the Host. You must not deliberately damage property, interfere with livestock, enter restricted areas or create an unreasonable risk to others. 6. COUNTRYSIDE AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENTS Many Hidden Places locations may be rural, undeveloped or natural environments. Such locations may contain inherent features including uneven ground, mud, water, trees, wildlife, livestock and changing weather conditions. Guests should use reasonable care and follow safety information supplied by the Host. 7. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE You must comply with agreed arrival, departure and access arrangements. You must not remain at a Place beyond the booked period without the Host's agreement. 8. DAMAGE You are responsible for damage caused deliberately or negligently by you or members of your group, subject to applicable law. Any incident or significant damage should be reported promptly. 9. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS Cancellations and refunds are governed by the Hidden Places Cancellation and Refund Policy and the conditions applicable to the booking. 10. PROBLEMS DURING A BOOKING Where reasonably possible, you should notify the Host promptly if a problem arises so that they have an opportunity to address it. Serious safety issues or unresolved disputes may be raised through Hidden Places. 11. RESOLUTION CENTRE Hidden Places may request messages, photographs, receipts or other relevant evidence when reviewing a dispute. Information supplied must be truthful and relevant. 12. CONDUCT Threatening, abusive, discriminatory or seriously inappropriate behaviour towards Hosts, other users or Hidden Places personnel is not permitted. 13. CHANGES These Guest Terms may be updated by issuing a new version. Where required, Guests may be asked to accept updated terms before making future bookings.
