About Glamp and Tipple
Our aim at Glamp & Tipple is to encourage those who have never experienced glamping before to “give it a try” — and hopefully be very pleasantly surprised! We combine the charm of sleeping beneath canvas or staying in a beautifully designed wooden cabin with the warmth, comfort and thoughtful facilities of a luxury countryside retreat. Our five fully heated and insulated yurts are designed for cosy, year-round stays. Each yurt has its own private wood-fired hot tub just steps from the door, together with a private, heated bathroom featuring a flushing toilet and a hot shower, located just a short 30-second stroll away. The site has been carefully arranged to provide guests with plenty of space and privacy. From 26th March 2027, guests will also be able to stay in one of our four brand-new luxury wooden cabins. Each cabin will sleep up to four guests and feature a king-size bed, double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, Smart TV, Wi-Fi and its own private wood-fired hot tub. Every cabin will also have access to a private heated bathroom, while two of the cabins — Veuve and Roederer — will offer the additional luxury of a private electric sauna. Glamp & Tipple is set on a beautiful working farm in Great Ellingham, South Norfolk. We always like guests to be fully aware that the site is situated beside the B1077 Watton Road, which is used by local and agricultural traffic. However, this convenient location also provides easy access to some of Norfolk’s best-loved attractions, including Banham Zoo, Thetford Forest and High Lodge, the historic city of Norwich and the Norfolk Broads — all within approximately a 30-minute drive. Helen and Louise are committed to maintaining the exceptionally high standards and attention to detail for which Glamp & Tipple has become known. About this stay
Bollinger, our rose gold and geometric themed luxury yurt, comes complete with a comfy king bed with teddy bear fleece bedding, warm throws and soft cushions plus 2 single futon single sofa-beds, with thick memory foam toppers, making it suitable for a romantic break for 2 or a family break. It is possible to add 2 extra floor futon mattresses allowing for a maximum of 6 guests. All our yurts have a large, covered, wood fired private hot tub included as standard which can be found just a few steps away from your yurt door! This will be heated prior to your arrival to ensure you get the maximum enjoyment from it during your stay. They are a generous size and can comfortably fit up to 6 adults and have jets and lights. Your stargazing yurt is fully insulated and there is a powerful wood burner for added cosiness all year round. Inside you will find hot water bottles, thick bedding, throws, bean bag and a unit containing all the necessities such as electric kettle, crockery, glassware, cutlery, mugs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. You will also find a full size fridge with freezer compartment is ready and waiting for you to fill with lovely goodies to indulge in during your stay! Outside your yurt you will find a covered kitchen area with double ring gas stove (gas included) plus a large Firepit/BBQ, just be sure to bring some charcoal with you. Enjoy dining at your picnic table before relaxing around your kadai fire pit or in the bubbles of your covered private hot tub with jets and lights! Just a short 20/30 second stroll from your yurt you will find your very own on site private bathroom which comes with a flushing toilet, shower with hot water 24/7, full length mirror, hairdryer, heated towel rail and complimentary toiletries. These little huts are assigned to each yurt so you can relax in the knowledge that no one else will use your bathroom during your stay. There are many things to enjoy on site including a large covered outdoor space with contactless payment pool table, large table tennis table, badminton/volleyball net, dart board, table football, outdoor giant games, DVDs and a book swap corner! Children will love the play park too! If you find you have forgotten any essentials then simply head to the honesty shop on site where you can find a range of local sourced Norfolk goodies and gifts or take a stroll to the nearby Farm Shop where you can delight in some delicious local produce. Don’t forget that we are also dog friendly and have a special doggy welcome pack which is included in as standard to ensure they feel welcome and part of the experience!
